NELSON
A breezy, maritime nose of seagrass and salinity with pink citrus notes greets a palate of concentrated margarita zest, green and red apple notes with a rich mouthfeel, fine leesy texture and an intense finish of breadth, freshness and further telltale salinity. PINOT GRIS
NELSON
Our Pinot Gris thrives in the cooler influenced Nelson, gathering sweet pear and frangipane notes, alongside a wonderfully balanced texture of peach and apricot fruit on the palate. Feels like a hike down the Heaphy Track.

NELSON
Perfumed, floral low yielding Pinot Noir with typical notes of cherry, violet and juicy raspberry. Following some pigeage, 12% of the wine is aged in mixed French coopers to add depth of character.

MONTEPULCIANO
ROSÉ
NELSON
We call it a rare, neon-looking rosé—fun, vibrant, and unmistakably Nelson. Made in tiny quantities from Montepulciano grown on our 1.3ha Upper Moutere block. Picked last in harvest, partially skin-fermented for colour and grip, the rest gently pressed. Aged in old barrels, then lightly filtered and bottled for a juicy, structured finish. Think bright cherry, pomegranate, wild berries—like Cinsault with a twist.

NELSON
CHARDONNAY
Sourced from two sites: clay-rich Moutere Hills for depth and minerality, and sun-soaked Tasman Bay for richness. Fermented 60% in old oak, 40% in stainless steel to retain vibrancy while adding gentle complexity. Expect notes of yellow stone fruit, lemon zest, salted popcorn, and a touch of vanilla. The finish is long and mineral—a true expression of Nelson’s cool-climate charm.
MOUTERE RANGE
Solely from grapes grown on the iconic rich Moutere clay soil. Turn around, Mount Arthur offers some breathtaking views. The Moutere soils provide water holding capacity which gives relief to the vines when sun shines year round. Resulting in wines with percing precision, high intensity and finesse.

MOUTERE
SAUVIGNON BLANC
A very tense, precise and fresh Sauvignon Blanc. High concentration and finesse, it has lovely notes of crisp Granny Smith apple, lime zest and a saline savoury finish.

MOUTERE
RIESLING
From the oldest Riesling vineyard in New Zealand, this 50 years old Riesling has layers of complexity. A portion of the wine was aged in a terracotta amphora. Nose is floral, spicy with a mineral and oily texture on the mouth. A wine that will only get better with age.

MOUTERE CHARDONNAY
From Mendoza clones grapes planted in 1974, this Chardonnay is slightly smokey, mineral with with a delicate saline palate intertwined with a hint of peach. The use of old puncheons gives the wine complexity and roundness. Bold and pleasing, it's a proper glass of what is arguably New Zealand's, let alone Nelson's most exciting variety.
